JFF Fundraising Performance

JFF_CharlotteDear Friends

We have been given a splendid opportunity to raise funds for the Jes Foord Foundation.  For those of you who don’t know, they are a KZN based organisation that works with rape survivors.

Kickstart Theatre Productions have always been a supporter of JFF and has provided 100 tickets for Charlotte’s Web on 15 June 2019 @3pm at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, for fundraising purposes  These limited number of tickets are selling for R160 and proceeds will go towards the foundation’s Kiddie Pack project (see payment details below).  This is a project where child survivors are given a ‘comfort’ bag filled with everything they need to get them through the initial trauma process.

Charlotte's Web is a charming children’s book by E.B White which comes to vivid life in Greg King’s enchanting stage adaptation. It tells the tale of Wilbur, a prize-winning piglet and his unique friendship with an extraordinary spider, named Charlotte. This is heart-warming family entertainment that is perfect for the July holidays.  The productions stars Mthokozisi Zulu, Belinda Henwood, Lyle Buxton, Cara Roberts, Teboho Tbone Hlahane and Bryan Hiles, with set design and direction by Greg King of Kickstart.  Lighting design is by the Senddon Theatre Production Manager Tina le Roux, who works closely with the Jessica Foord Foundation and is herself a survivor and public speaker, so this is a project very close to her heart .

Please consider supporting this project and helping to make a real difference.
