Honours Directing Festival

Presented by Howard College's UKZN Drama and Performance Studies Honours Directing Students, this festival is a showcase of young directors at work; exploring and developing their craft as South African theatre makers.

Comprising 13 short plays - some written by the students themselves or an interpretation of notable work from renowned South African playwrights - the festival is not only a wonderful opportunity for students to engage in the singular art of live theatre, but also for all to watch the exciting productions to be staged.

This year's festival is an open invite (entrance is free!) to all students, staff, family, and friends of the UKZN community to come support the Drama and Performance Studies Department students, who eagerly await your presence at their shows.
