Dance studio showcase

This dance production showcases Karen Drake Dance Studio performers between the ages of four and twenty four. It is a wonderful journey of dance that will take the audience on an African Adventure which ultimately demonstrates the beauty behind leaving your own individual mark for others to see.

Through ballet, tap, hip hop, modern and musical theatre numbers, we will travel from the Kalahari sand dunes through to the African Grasslands, which is home to not only stunning plant life, such as water lilies and spring flowers, but also to gorgeous animals such as baby hippos, flamingos and zebra.  Following this picturesque safari, the audience will also bear witness to a vibey African scene inclusive of sassy ladies, construction workers and playful groups of children all of whom will eventually lead us to our very own beaches of Durban. This performance is a chance for the KDDS dancers to exhibit all the hard work and effort that goes into their training, and as such, they are extremely excited about their upcoming performances.  "We look forward to having you there with us and hope to leave our very own dancers footprint in your hearts!" - Karen Drake
